Set your event's date and time zone, copy one link, and paste it into your Canva invitation. It counts down live for every guest.

Putting it in your invitation
- In Canva, open your invitation and select the countdown on the page.
- Delete it, then choose Apps, search Embed, and paste your link.
- Drag the countdown into place, then Publish changes.
Questions people ask
Which time zone does the countdown follow?
The one you pick for the event. Every guest counts down to the same moment, wherever they are, so a party at 6 pm in Los Angeles reaches zero at 9 pm for a guest in New York.
What happens when it reaches zero?
The numbers are replaced by your message, or by "It's time to celebrate!" if you leave the message empty.
Is anything stored about my event?
No. The date, time zone, colours and labels all live inside the link itself, so there is no account and nothing saved on a server. Change anything and you get a new link.
Can I change the words under the numbers?
Yes. Open colours and labels and type four labels separated by commas, for example in another language. Each label can be up to 16 characters.
